King Crimson

(Rose by Stjepan Bicanic)
A crimson rose, velvety like a smooth kiss landing on my neck. It opens and opens and spreads its huge petals on my desk. It smells heavenly.
I stole it from a public flower-bed, under my sister’s disapproving glare, my mum’s surprised look and the staring eyes of a group of tourists. On a Friday night, by a very busy street.
It was a rather silly thing to do... Sometimes I enjoy doing silly things.
