Madredeus Live 29/09/2005

Teresa Salgueiro is my friend. I met her for the first time about 10 years ago. We don't see each other often. We don't exchange e-mails and we don't talk on the phone. But every time we meet it's like Christmas. We are a good example of a "less is more" relationship.
Teresa is not a celebrity, she is the most modest famous artist I know. She is a girl in a woman's body. A woman's body with an angel's voice. But most of all she is a nice person and a great mother.
Last night it was beautiful. Madredeus performed splendidly the secrets of Lisbon on Lecabettus hill. The weather was cool and cloudy. We could only see a handful of stars in the sky, which was a pity. But their music was a warm elixir for the heart. The kind of magic you keep as a lifeguard for the hard winter days.
